We recognise that many people like to make their own travel arrangements using the
internet these days and you are welcome to do this if you wish. Online fares are
normally considerably lower than fares available to tour operators, which is another
reason for booking a holiday with us, rather than taking a package tour.
We can make travel arrangements using online fares, but as there is little or no
commission available to agents we have to charge for this service. Our fee structure
for planning and booking travel to Norway is very simple. We charge £5 per one way
journey per person and this will be shown as a separate item on your invoice. For
complex itineraries or for travel in periods with limited availability we may ask
for the booking fee to be paid before preparing a detailed proposal.
We are always happy to give general advice by email or on the phone about travel
to Norway, but we cannot provide a detailed planning service free of charge if you
are intending to book the services yourself.
If you are planning to make your own travel arrangements we recommend that you ask
our advice first or you may end up paying a lot more than necessary for internal
travel and accommodation. Extra overnight stays may be needed because of flight times,
or travel dates may not correspond with normal booking periods for accommodation.
We are always willing to book the accommodation only and we will make sure bookings
are held or confirmed for you before you are committed to non-changeable travel
The linked pages above will give you some ideas about what is possible if you want
us to make the travel arrangements for you, and they are a helpful guide if you want
to plan and book travel arrangements yourself, leaving us to book the accommodation
